AcesCoin is a deprecated cryptocurrency project focused on becoming the first cryptocurrency worldwide to be accepted in online games. The AcesCoin project was originally announced on Bitcointalk.org by a user named JhonTravis on July 26, 2016.

The AcesCoin platform was based on the X13 algorithm, and used a Proof of Stake consensus system. Block times were set at 60s, with difficulty recalculations every 20 blocks. The platform offered a Proof of Stake reward of 33% for the first year; minimum stake ages were set at 24h, with 0.1 ACES block rewards. The initial coin supply was set to be 100 million ACES.

The roadmap for the Aces project included the implementation of a website hosting its own games, merchant and betting services. According to the original AcesCoin Bitcointalk post, the project hosted the first and second phases of an initial coin offering, during which a total of 1.545 BTC plus 287.000 HVCO (High Voltage tokens) were raised. The post contains a GitHub link, but there are no available links to wallets or social media other than the Twitter handle @CoinAces, which hasn’t published anything since August 2016. The project’s GitHub page has not been updated in more than a year.

The latest updates to the original Bitcointalk thread from 2018 show that the project has been delisted from CoinExchange after the AcesCoin network allegedly suffered a 51% attack. This attack caused the exchange to lose all their ACES holdings, leaving users to absorb the losses.
