EtherWall wallet platform is the first Ethereum Classic desktop wallet. It is a free open-source project which supports the Trezor hardware wallet for cold storage of your private keys. This platform has 2 options, a full client mode requires the user download the full Ethereum Classic blockchain, while the thin client mode uses a remote node for validation.
Etherwall wallet platform provides two versions of wallet operation. The first one is the full node client, requiring users to download the full 30GB+ Ethereum blockchain and the second mode is the thin client, in which transactions are validated on a remote Ethereum node. In both modes all the data, including your private keys, are stored on your computer.

Etherwall is a free open-source wallet software developed by a company called CrucialBit. The key-persons that are currently working on this wallet platform are Ales Katona (Almindor - @Github) and Derek Cormack, a product engineer from Alberta, Canada. There have been some threads on Reddit regarding the phishing attempts by several impostors for this wallet.

Etherwall is not one of the safest options to store or trade your Ethereum. Recently there have been many attempts of phishing on the website and deceiving users into installing a hacked version of this wallet to steal users Ether. Also, there have been threads posted on Reddit about users that saw their ETC gone from this wallet.
